About Kathy
As a Hollywood makeup artist, Kathy Krakora brings more than 20
years of knowledge and experience to the faces of her clients.
Her bio includes film, high fashion, television, and print
media. Over the years, she developed a client list including
NBC, ABC, MTV, VH1, BBC, Banana Republic, Nautica, 944 Magazine,
Oxygen Magazine, Motorola, Kodak, Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona
Lottery, America West Airlines, and as the AZ personal makeup
artist to Alice Cooper. Kathy has also served as a featured
artist for MAC cosmetics and as a market artist for Chanel. She
has taught her makeup techniques throughout the US and
internationally in Japan and Australia.
As a clinical aesthetician, she has received advanced training
in therapeutic cosmetics, working with Plastic Surgeons and
Dermatologists in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ.
After purchasing a microdermabrasion machine in 2000, Kathy
struggled to find skin care and cosmetic products that were
gentle, yet effective enough to use following post-resurfacing
treatments such as microdermabrasion and chemical peels, while
also targeting the aging process.
Kathy recognized a strong need for clinical skin care and
cosmetics that not only filled the void for post-resurfacing
products, but combined practicality, functionality and synergy –
this is when the concept of Scosh was born. To bring her idea to
fruition she selected a specialized lab and chemist and began a
four-year journey of research and development using the latest
technological developments and scientific evidence to create a
professional product line that is simple, effective and
complete.
The Scosh Skincare system has been formulated to target
premature aging, sun damage, dehydration, problematic, and
over-processed skins. Scosh products infuse the skin with
therapeutic levels of anti-oxidants, vitamins, skin-calming and
healing ingredients to beautifully soften, refine, soothe, heal,
restore, repair, and protect.

In 2006, Kathy decided the time was right to open Scosh Makeup
and Skincare studio, offering a fun and friendly atmosphere for
affordable Makeup and Skincare services that leave your skin
glowing and your heart happy!
Scosh Makeup Workshops are all about being affordable and having
FUN! With step-by-step instructions as well as easy-to-use
application techniques and the skillful use of beauty tools,
Scosh School helps you create and develop your own style. Kathy
teaches you how to beautifully enhance and define – not
decorate!
Known for her expertise in microdermabrasion, she decided to
take her knowledge of skincare and ingredients to another level
and developed the technically advanced masks and peels now
available in her studio. Understanding the time constraint world
we live in, Kathy designed time saving treatments for all skin
types.
